Program Overview

The 2018 GAME Annual Conference will focus on emerging technologies and their impact on advancing educational research, continuing education (CME/CE), and new approaches in continuing professional development (CPD).  With an increased focus on the linkage of CPD, quality improvement, patient engagement, and outcomes our goal is to empower learners and CPD professionals with the knowledge and skills to harness the technologies, theories and best practices to pioneer innovation in CME/CE globally and locally.  Professionals representing academia, educational research, medical societies, medical education companies, and technology organizations are being challenged to reflect on current practices and develop innovative solutions that maximize efficiencies and effectiveness in learning and optimizing learner engagement.

 


The 2018 GAME Annual Conference themes will address:

  • eLearning Solutions for CME/CE Programs: Maximizing Learning Engagement and Outcomes

  • Designing Interprofessional Continuing Education to Optimize Team-Based Care

  • Designing Interprofessional Continuing Education to Optimize Team-Based Care

  • The Role of Patients as a Partner in CME/CE activities

  • Learning/teaching principles and best-practices from global partners

  • Designing best-in-class educational needs and practice needs assessments

  • Innovation in CME/CE: Case Studies from Around the World

  • Data on CME Requirements by Country or Region (including CME accreditation and standards for commercial support)
