Leadership Program FAQ
What is the Leadership Program?
The complete Leadership Program will consist of 4 modules, each 4 weeks in length with a participant commitment of 2 hours/week (8 hours/module), including pre-work and a weekly live session. The modules are:
Module 1 - Introduction: Leadership and CPD
Module 2 - Essential Leadership Communication Skills
Module 3 - Building Teams, Mentorship and Coaching
Module 4 - Creating a Learning Organization and Facilitating Change
How much is the Leadership Program?
Module 1 is free to all GAME members and $50 for non-GAME members. Future modules will be available with GAME member and non-member pricing.
Who should participate?
This global leadership program is targeted at individuals and teams of medical educators from across the globe from academia, industry (MedTech/pharma), government, professional medical education institutions/organizations/agencies, NGOs; target learners are those in leadership roles responsible for driving transformational change in medical learning and continuing professional development (CPD).
When is Module 1?
This first four-week module will start January 24, 2022 and run until February 19, 2022.
Once registered, you will have the option to attend the weekly live sessions offered on Wednesdays at either 9am CET or 2pm CET.
What is covered in Module 1?
Module 1 will focus on increasing your ability to:
1. Describe what excellence in leadership in healthcare looks like today
2. Identify your own leadership traits
3. List three models of leadership used across healthcare
4. Define the core/key traits of leadership
5. Explain the distinction between leadership and management
What is the time commitment for each module?
Two (2) hours per week for 4 weeks (1 hour for asynchronous pre-work plus a 1-hour live, facilitator-led session via Zoom).
