I know that AI assisted language translation (voice as well as closed captions) is currently the "buzz" in global tech spaces. On YouTube alone, you can hear the AI generated voices, increasingly on "educational" based channels of all sorts. People want to share their particular interests, and why not do so in multiple languages?
About localization, it is important to consider context and culture, but some of the basic information that is often presented in Medical Education (CPD) programs transcends any need for localization/culture concerns. Aside from medication availability, understanding cancer is the same around the world. Treatments will change, but the basic knowledge of cancer does not.
Just my two cents.
