Hello everyone - as promised, 6 take home messages from week 2 - what we felt as a faculty we wanted you to take away. What have your reflections been in the past 24 hours? What's landed with you?

Hello Hosnah, thank you for your post. I agree with all you listed out - we asked Professor McKimm exactly this question when we interviewed her last week (we will post the video on week 2 materials) - and she pretty much said what you've written. Do have a look at the video. Thank you very much again Hosnah for all your contributions - Jo

Hello Ian, Thank you very much for sharing your candid and insightful reflections. I'm really happy to hear your favourite takeaway point from a breakout was giving followers "opportunities" - I feel like I've had some big teachable moments in preparing this module about the role and critical importance of followership. And I completely agree with you on values in work and outside of work - the porousness of today's work-life balance - integrity and authenticity and having purpose - they matter whether inside or outside of work. Thanks so much again for your contributions. Jo

Self-reflection question #1 (to think about as you read/watch week 2 asynchronous work): 1. What factors do you think are driving an increased emphasis on leadership in healthcare per se and specifically leadership in healthcare education?
